If you place LOCOMO around a commercially available transparent rearing cage, you can obtain locomotor activity of a rodent in this cage. LOCOMO is small and you can easily set multiple systems.

CIFPBX	CIF-III			PC to obtain data

A pulse signal is generated by LOCOMO sensor unit (LS-5 / LS-8) through a LOCOMO control unit (CIFPBX), which is counted by a counter interface (CIF-III) and input to PC. One CIFPBX can control 4 channels. You can easily set a system from a few apparatuses to many ones.
